LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
We acknowledge that Corvallis, Oregon rests on the traditional homelands of the Mary’s River (Ampinefu) Band of Kalapuya. Following treaties in the 1850s, Kalapuya people were forcibly removed to the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, where their descendants continue to live today. We honor their enduring presence and stewardship of this land.
